Q1: When was the last time you used a pay phone? How often have you used a pay phone in the last year?
Payphone is typically a coin-operated public telephone, often
located in a telephone booth or a privacy hood, with per-payment by inserting
money (usually coins) or by billing credit, debit card, or a telephone card.
Nowadays, I believe very less
people especially the generation Y is using a pay phone. I remember that my
last time of using a payphone is 2008 when I first reach in UK Manchester
Airport. I use the payphone to call my family in Malaysia to inform that I have
reach UK safely. After that, I have never use payphone. So my answer to “how
often have you used a pay phone in the last year?” is definitely = NIL.
Q2: If you needed to use a pay phone, would you know
immediately where one was located.
As I
mention in the last question, I have almost 5 years never use a payphone,
payphone is become a stranger to me. It is also true that nowadays, we hardly
see a payphone even in a super market or in the road side like last time. I
could not find any payphone within 10KM of my house. The only pay phone I know
is in KLIA/LCCT air port.
Q3: When was the last time you used your cell phone? How often
have you used your cell phone in the last day?
I am
using my cell phone to type this answer. So my answer will be this minute is my
last time using my cell phone. And I used my cell phone whenever I want to
online, sms and phone call. So I am consider use my cell phone quite often in
everyday included last day.
